Expert Telehealth Psychiatry in New Jersey — Reproductive & Integrative Care
Specialized women's mental health care from a board-certified psychiatrist — available via secure telehealth for patients anywhere in New Jersey.
Some of the moments when women most need psychiatric support are also the ones when getting to an office feels impossible.
You're 36 weeks pregnant and exhausted. You have a newborn and haven't slept in weeks. You're managing perimenopause symptoms while running a household and a career. Driving to an appointment shouldn't be the barrier between you and feeling better.
That's exactly why I built my practice around telehealth. Every appointment happens through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform — no commute, no waiting room, no disruption to your day. Just focused, unhurried psychiatric care from a board-certified reproductive and integrative psychiatrist, wherever you are in New Jersey.
Warmly,
Susan Zink, MDBoard Certified Psychiatrist | Princeton - Georgetown - UC San Diego

Direct Pay Telehealth Psychiatry — Worth It.
EleMental Psychiatry operates on a direct pay model, which means no insurance involvement and no limitations on how Dr. Zink evaluates and treats you.
Direct pay telehealth means faster access — new patients are typically seen within 1–2 weeks. It means longer, more focused appointments. And most importantly it means Dr. Zink can make the highest quality clinical decisions based on what's right for you, not what an insurer will approve, all while exploring a wider range of integrative treatment options suited to your specific needs.

Meet Dr. Susan Zink: New Jersey’s Telehealth Reproductive Psychiatrist
Dr. Zink built EleMental as a telehealth-first practice because the women who most need specialized reproductive psychiatric care are often the least able to get to an office. A newborn at home, a high-risk pregnancy, a demanding schedule — these shouldn't determine whether someone gets help.
With over 17 years of experience, board certification in adult psychiatry, and perinatal mental health certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International, Dr. Zink brings genuine specialty depth to every virtual appointment — the same expertise available in person, accessible from anywhere in New Jersey.
She holds perinatal mental health certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International, has published research on perinatal depression and anxiety, and serves as reproductive and integrative psychiatry faculty at a New Jersey residency program — actively shaping how the next generation of psychiatrists in this state approaches women's mental health.

Many psychiatrists don’t accept insurance because it limits care — insurance can dictate how long or how often you’re seen, require a diagnosis even when one isn’t appropriate, and sometimes demand access to private notes.
Patients who rely on insurance often face delays, difficulty reaching their clinician between appointments, and less personalized attention.
I created a direct-pay practice to remove these barriers — so I can see new patients within 1–2 weeks, take the time for a thorough evaluation, design a personalized treatment plan, collaborate with your care team, and stay directly accessible when you need support.
