Highest Standard of Care with Direct Pay

EleMental Integrative Psychiatry operates on a direct pay model, which means we do not involve insurance. This allows us to offer the highest quality, most personalized and flexible care without the limitations often imposed by insurance plans.

By working independently of insurance, we can explore a wider range of treatment options, tailor your care to your unique needs, offer greater freedom in scheduling and clinical decisions, and better maintain your privacy.

Why Work with Dr. Zink:

    1. Dr. Zink completed her premedical education at Princeton University, followed by intensive medical and psychiatric training at Georgetown and UC San Diego

    2. Board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) in adult Psychiatry

    3. Completed perinatal mental health certification (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International

    4. Published content and presented lectures on perinatal depression and anxiety

    5. Deep expertise in many conditions and specialized in women’s mental health, reproductive psychiatry, and integrative treatments

    6. Extensive experience helping thousands of people with mental health challenges

    1. Limited number of patients allows for highly personalized care and timely support

    2. Direct access to Dr. Zink via secure patient portal

    3. Convenient, flexible scheduling with minimal wait times for appointments

    4. Both in-person and virtual appointments available

    5. Close collaboration with other clinicians (e.g., therapists, primary care physician, OB/Gyn)

    1. Many psychiatrists don’t accept insurance because it limits care — insurance can dictate how long or how often you’re seen, require a diagnosis even when one isn’t appropriate, and sometimes demand access to private notes.

    2. Patients who rely on insurance often face delays, difficulty reaching their clinician between appointments, and less personalized attention.

    3. I created a direct-pay practice to remove these barriers — so I can see new patients within 1–2 weeks, take the time for a thorough evaluation, design a personalized treatment plan, collaborate with your care team, and stay directly accessible when you need support.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Integrative psychiatry blends traditional psychiatric treatment with other complimentary and holistic options. This approach offers more treatment tools, including prescription medicine (like antidepressants, for example), lifestyle optimization, acupuncture, yoga, or evidence-backed natural supplements.

  • Reproductive psychiatry refers to mental health evaluation and treatment related to hormonal changes that occur during a woman’s lifespan.  During the premenstrual cycle, pregnancy, postpartum, and perimenopause stages, psychiatric care often needs to be tailored in a unique way to manage symptoms and conditions.

  • Because we aim to offer an elevated level of care, EleMental does not take any insurance. Fees are charged at the time of treatment.  Please see here for more information about why we do not involve insurance.  Please note: due to federal and state rules, we are unable to see patients with Medicare or Medicaid benefits, even on a self-pay basis.

  • Both! In person appointments are available at the office in Linwood, NJ. Telehealth is available across NJ and will soon be available to FL.

  • EleMental is not equipped to manage emergency treatment or individuals requiring higher levels of care that may require intensive treatment, continuous supervision, or case management. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911, the suicide lifeline 988, or go to the nearest emergency room.
